Private Rented Solutions Worker (Mental Health Pathway)

£27,306 pa inc LW + pensions and other benefits

12 Months Fixed Term Contract – Subject to funding

35 hours per week excluding breaks

We are excited to be offering the role of Private Rented Solutions (PRS) Worker, to join our expanding team at The Passage. The role will promote the option for rough sleepers and low to medium need hostel accommodation residents to rent privately from landlords. The PRS Worker will be responsible for sourcing appropriate PRS accommodation and working with other members of the team to resettle our clients into this pathway.

They will identify new private rented housing opportunities for clients referred to the project and to foster positive relationships with landlords, referrers and with the project’s funders. They will also develop a personalised rehousing and tenancy sustainment package for each client drawing on the other resources available within the Client Development Department.

The PRS Worker will have an awareness of physical health, mental health and substance misuse needs and excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be required to demonstrate good administrative, recording and reporting skills as well as having solid IT skills.
