Details:
Rowan House is a specialist independent hospital offering person-centred
assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services in both medium
and low secure environments, for adults with challenging behaviour
associated with a learning or developmental disability or autism,
including those with forensic backgrounds. In addition, Rowan House
provides specialist medium secure services for men with Personality
Disorders or low secure male high functioning autism and Asperger
Syndrome services. It is registered with the Care Quality Commission
(CQC) as an Independent Hospital able to take patients liable to
be detained under the Mental Health Act 1983, as amended in 2007.
Rowan House is registered
to admit up to 88 patients and is situated in on a 17-acre campus
near the village of Buxton, eight miles north of Norwich.
Support
Workers make up the largest staff group at Care Principles. They
provide support to our patients and service users ensuring they
develop and maintain their daily hygiene, dietary and self-help
skills.
As a Support Worker you
will act as a positive role model for patients and residents, encouraging
them in their daily activities, educational and behavioural support
programmes, and their recreational activities. You will help each
individual look for the positives in themselves as they make the
journey along their pathway of care towards greater independence
and a better quality of life.
