Details:
Middlestead House is a specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation
service for men with challenging behaviour associated with learning
or developmental disability or autism, including those with forensic
backgrounds and additional mental health needs. It is registered
with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as an Independent Hospital.
Middlestead
House is registered to admit up to 18 residents and is situated
in the village of Breaston, between Derby and Nottingham, approximately
ten miles from Junction 25 of the M1 and within easy access of local
amenities.
Support
Workers make up the largest staff group at Care Principles. They
provide support to our patients and service users ensuring they
develop and maintain their daily hygiene, dietary and self-help
skills.
As a Support Worker you
will act as a positive role model for patients and residents, encouraging
them in their daily activities, educational and behavioural support
programmes, and their recreational activities. You will help each
individual look for the positives in themselves as they make the
journey along their pathway of care towards greater independence
and a better quality of life.
