Vacancy: Part-Time Assistant Psychologist

Hours: p/w: 4 days per week

Salary: Up to £9.04 p.h. depending on experience

The Role:

Based at Kings Delph Lodge Hospital, Pondersbridge, near Peterborough and working in other care homes in the area with patients with learning disabilities and other associated disorders.

You will use psychometric instruments and other psychological methods to assist the Consultant Psychologist in formulating and delivering care.

You will assist in writing risk assessments and behavioural management plans and assist the nursing team to formulate care plans. You will be supervised by the Consultant Psychologist.

You must have excellent organisation, written and communication skills, be able to analyse behavioural data using spreadsheets, and present findings to clinicians and family members. You must have independent means of travel.

You will hold a psychology degree (First or 2:1 or 2:2 plus relevant post grad qualification).
