Details: The Whanganui District Health Board Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services is seeking applications for a Consultant Psychiatrist to be based at Whanganui Hospital in the city of Wanganui. We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in child and adolescents to take up a permanent position.

Eligibility for vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ and experience with child and adolescent mental health services are essential. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to a multidisciplinary team working environment.

This role will allow you to thrive professionally in providing your clinical expertise and knowledge to most areas of young people’s mental health. Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service has a strong commitment to collaboration between young persons, families, staff, and other services.
